Samita Mishra Memorial Foundation for Cancer Research since its inception in 2013 has been running four major campaigns, of which Cancer Bhagao and Pink Wo-Mania are annual features. Through these campaigns the aim is to engage communities as catalysts of cancer awareness and early detection.

CANCER BHAGAO
Cancer Bhagao is a movement that has emerged as a beacon of hope for people in India who are impacted by cancer. In addition to the health-check up camps, Cancer Bhagao also organizes awareness seminars to educate doctors and masses about the different types of cancer, their symptoms, causes, and treatment options. These seminars have been instrumental in creating a culture of awareness and early intervention in the fight against cancer.

Pink Wo-Mania
Pink Wo-Mania is a breast cancer awareness movement that is making waves in the healthcare sector by breaking cultural taboos that prevent women from accessing healthcare due to cultural norms. The movement aims to educate women about breast cancer, encouraging learning of self-examination and treatment seeking behavior in case of any probable signs and symptoms. By increasing awareness about the disease and breaking the stigma surrounding it, Pink Wo-Mania is empowering women to take charge of their health.
The movement also aims to increase access for women to diagnostic services by bringing mammography vans and doctors in partnership with hospitals like Artemis, Max, and Medanta.
